The sales funnel theory can be broadly understood as a “buying pathway” that starts with the prospect initiating contact and then uses several sales tools to close the purchase. The idea is to use the sales tools to choose the potential from the initial contact period to a “comfortable buy” or “completed sale” at the end of the sales process.
